Overview
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Web Designer with strong expertise in WordPress and/or Magento. The ideal candidate should be capable of designing visually appealing, user-friendly, and high-performing websites while also understanding business goals, conversions, and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Website Design & Development
- Design and develop responsive websites using WordPress and/or Magento
- Create visually engaging layouts aligned with brand guidelines
- Customize themes and templates based on project requirements
2. UI/UX & Performance Optimization
- Ensure intuitive navigation and seamless user experience across devices
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and mobile responsiveness
- Implement conversion-focused design elements (CTAs, landing pages, funnels)
3. Content & Visual Integration
- Collaborate with marketing teams to integrate content, graphics, and multimedia
- Design banners, landing pages, and web assets
- Ensure consistency in visual identity across all web pages
4. E-commerce Development (Magento Focus)
- Set up and manage e-commerce websites, product pages, and checkout flows
- Configure payment gateways, shipping methods, and integrations
- Optimize product pages for conversions and user experience
5. Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Perform regular website updates, backups, and security checks
- Troubleshoot bugs, errors, and performance issues
- Manage plugins, extensions, and third-party integrations
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with WordPress and/or Magento
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (basic to intermediate)
- Experience with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg, etc.)
- Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Familiarity with website speed optimization tools
Good to Have (Bonus Skills)
- Experience with SEO best practices and tools like Google Analytics
- Knowledge of hosting environments, cPanel, and domain management
- Experience with UI/UX tools like Figma or Adobe XD
- Basic understanding of PHP and MySQL
- Experience with website migrations and API integrations
Experience Required
- 2–4 years of experience in Web Design / Development
Education Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, IT, or related field
